Dusseldorf Free Walking Tour – Itinerary
Free Walking Tour Dusseldorf starts at Girardet Bridge. After a short walk through Konigsallee, we walk towards Heinrich Heine street and take a look to the most expensive hotel in town, Breidenbacher Hof.
We pass through Bolkerstrasse and of course we give recommendations on the best bars and clubs to party every day of the week, because in Dusseldorf and especially in Bolkastrasse the party never stops.
We continue to Kurze strasse, where the oldest brewery in Düsseldorf is located, which is called Brauerei Kürze. This street together with Bolkastrasse brings Düsseldorf’s dark and cold nights to life.
After this, we walk towards the river rhine and we arrive at Burgplatz, where our friendly guide will explain characteristic things of the city and show different statues.
The next stop on this Dusseldorf free tour is the Rathaus or town hall, where we appreciate German architecture and learn a little about politics and local festivals. The tour continues through different streets of the city until reaching Carlsplatz, which is a beautiful market with a variety of products, especially food.
After a tour of the market we arrive at the old port, where we can learn much more about the ancient lifestyle that existed in the city. We can also take beautiful photos of the ship that is trapped within what remains of the old port.
The tour concludes with a beautiful view from the Rheinpromenade, from where you can see the Media Hafen, the Rhine tower, among other things.
